Weekly Events

In addition to special political, social and cultural events hosted by the Arab Students Association throughout the year, we have weekly events as well through which those who are interested may get more invovled in the ASA. These two weekly events are:

Weekly Membership Meeting

Every Thursday at 9:15 pm – 10:25 pm in LC 318

At these weekly meetings the officers of the ASA discuss any projects that are starting or underway and reflect on the events of the last week. All ASA members and those interested are welcome to attend. Coming to these meetings is the best way to meet us and get involved in the ASA as you will see how we run behind the scenes and have the opportunity to get to know our most active members.

The Arabic Language Table

Every Wednesday at 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm on the upper level of the Berkeley residential dinging hall

Come out to the Arabic table and eat dinner with other Arabic language students and native speakers. All levels are welcome. Weekly dinners are back for you to enjoy the music of the Arabic language, practice vocab and verb conjugation, show off some dialect, learn how to introduce yourself, improve your pronunciation, or just rekindle your love for a language that somehow won’t fit in your schedule.
